Our Favorite Animal!!

Hello we are the Black Tigers and our favorite animal is a Tiger.

We like Tigers because they are very interesting animals. We love the Tigers colorful fur, especially black Tigers.

We like to read about Tigers during Lunch Bunch. We love to learn new things about Tigers.

The School Bus Driver from the Black Lagoon

Today we read The School Bus Driver from the Black Lagoon. It was about a boy who hears he's getting a new bus driver. The boy has heard all kinds of crazy stuff about the bus driver. He hears that he drives like a maniac and will make you pay for gas with your lunch money. He has heard that he drives like he's in the Indy 500. But, he's very suprised when the doors open and the bus driver seems normal. The boy even jokes that he wishes the bus driver would go faster because he's never been in the Indy 500. The boy learns that you shouldn't judge people based only on what you've heard about them.

Ocean

ocean is a very good book. I learned that the pacific ocean covers more than one third of the earth's surface. the largest areas of seawater are called oceans. The smaller ones are called sea. Wind creates waves on the ocean surface. Strong winds make bigger waves. All seawater is salty. One of the saltiest seas is the red
sea. Whales are mammals. Unlike fish, they cannot breathe underwater. They surface to breathe air through their blowholes. Blue whales are the largest mammals of all. I think they are cool. From space, Earth looks blue because water
covers so much of it's surface.

Our Favorite Book!

Hello we are the Black Tigers and our favorite book is Snakes.

We like this book because it has really pretty pictures, and we like to learn about snakes.

Our favorite type of snake is the rattlesnake.

One of our favorite books that we read together was "Ancient Greece." We thought it was a really interesting book and we liked learning about Ancient Greece. We also liked the pictures in the book that showed us what ancient Greece looked like.
